Pizza for sure
Great staff. Efficient service. Tasty food!!
Great selection of foods and drinks. Great service and clean restaurant too! Overall a great experience to come here.
My favourite "pasticceria". Best cannoli in town!
The food was a mess, I don’t know what chicken or budget chicken this was but it was disgusting. Salty and absolutely over cooked the chicken wouldn’t even tear properly. It was a mess. Worst chicken parmigiana ever, it had veal texture and tasted like stale chicken. The upside, their canned coke was delicious.
Worst customer service ever. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, the place actually wasn’t busy and not a single person in line. We were completely ignored by the employee, she definitely saw us as she made eye contact with me. Rudely she turned her back to us and completely disregarded us. We waited for about 3 minutes and left. Obviously we took our business elsewhere, Bake Code Bakery - where not only the pasties were fresh and delicious but staff are super friendly!
Used to be much better. Today we visited and the food didn't look great. There was cooked broccoli and some pieces had yellow spots (the kind that you know is there before you cook it). The rest of the good was stale a little hard.
This would be better place if the owner was not cranky
Never been to a food establishment which will refuse to add hot water to my tea. Super thrifty. Also, the Napoleon cake, by definition, should have custard. Not sponge cake. Wouldn’t go back
Delicious chicken parmigiana sandwich but they didn't have any recycling or organics waste options when disposing of my meal even though they have a sign by the exit talking about littering. Not diverting away from landfill might as well be littering, so for that they lost marks but I hope to see an improvement!
Always a great community place! This place is never emotions, and the staff have been there for years. I have taken so many of my friends here over the years, and it's a place I can identify as mine in the community. They have great food, and always feed you like they are your mother and"you are too skinny"! It's a beautiful feeling!
There are not a lot of places like that int the neighborhood. We tried the pizza and the gelato and they were both good. The patio is nice too.
Amazing coffee. Cute inside. Has a patio. Excellent food, fresh bread, tasty desserts and gelato. Fun and friendly.
One of my favorates. Main course, drinks, alcoholic or not, coffees, desserts... Everything you would like, italian style! Fresh bread and cheese, olives and meat... The ice cream and the wood-oven pizza is what takes me there. Also, there is this incredible garlic bread which is only available on Saturdays, but it's definitely worth the wait!
Pizza , canoli and service are horrible! Not going back herePIZZA TOO SALTY CAKE TOO SWEET AND NOT FRESH Customer service is awful! Not friendly and they make you feel that you are not welcomePrice is expensive
The two Philippine girls who serve the Ice Cream are absolutely the worst. They have the nastiest attitude when serving their customers and they are talking in their language, are you kidding me? NOT going here anymore, you guys are just serving ice cream if you don't like your job that involves serving people and dealing with other people then quit and find another job. Simple as that.
It’s a nice Italian bakery with a huge selection of deserts and food which you can take out or eat in the sitting area. We came to pick up desserts for a party and it was pretty pricy, but the deserts were delicious. The ladies serving us were sweet. Overall we liked it, and want to come back to try some more desserts.
Pastry was good as was the latte. Service at the coffee bar was efficient but not friendly. Clean and a good amount of seating.
..Because my small pizza was not worth to make "only until 3pm" but they can make a large one at 2pm. The food is ok but oily. The baked goods are expensive and the food is a little over price. Also do not expect any customer service. We loved the pulled pork but we are not coming back. We did not feel welcome.
Never a good experience.......have been there too many times at dinner and lunch and very limited selection and what was available didn't taste that great. Cappuccinos are good. People are not happy at all there. Ambiance is a big negative.
They have nice coffee and deserts. Also can have quick bite Italian food and pizza.
Was expecting better. Desserts dry and abit too sweet. Coffee was very disappointing.
Very good pastrys. Coffee is amazing. They also have a Hot food section
My family and I love Nino D'Aversa. We live in Kitchener-Waterloo and we try to stop by whenever we can; particularly we often times order cakes here for special occasions. On our last visit to this location, we bought pasta and flour. When we went to make the pasta we realized it was expired by over a year and the flour was rancid and smelt horrible. Today we were driving through the area on our way home and thought we would pick up some pastries. They were all stale... very disappointing. We’ve been to other locations and have had nothing but good experiences. We will not be returning here.
If you bought bread for to go, you can not eat in the shop. I asked for a fork to eat it. They said I can not to eat because the price different. If you want to eat with coffee , should you go outside the door and eat it? There is this stupid rule. Besides, They didn't mention it, but later a manager-like employee came and told me very unkindly. I do not want to go again.
Food is not good the cake was too sweet and not fresh. Pizza was ok. The servers are mean and miserable. Not a welcoming place.
A nice Italian place to have a quick bite or sit and enjoy dessert. A good selection of hot and cold items. The desserts are made here. There is a nice patio. The prices are a little on the higher end and the customer service should be consistently applied to a high standard. Thanks
My wife and I had the panzarotti, and it was amazing! The portion size was huge and it was incredible. Everything tasted delicious and all the ingredients were fresh. Would recommend to anyone for authentic Italian food!
The only place in the area that serves decent espresso. Food is great too! Quick bite for lunch. Sit down or take out, full plate or sandwich, you can't go wrong.
First time here and loved it. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Food was fresh and delicious. My new favourite bakery. Great to sit and here or take to go.
It was a beautiful place with friendly staff.
I use to come here so often. Now, I am rarely there. Just found a photo of my past purchases. Definitely not a snug or quaint atmosphere. Gelato was good and some of the pastries.
Clean, good food, social distance practiced.
Good food! Chill place! The pizza is the cherry on the cake!
Fresh bakery, good taste of coffee and some different kinds of Italian products.
Best place ever, food is delicious and staff are very friendly. Oven pizza to die for, absolutely phenomenal place. Veal sandwich and all other dishes are truly delicious
You will definitely enjoy tasty desserts and a delicious Italian meal here. Many choices on or off the menu. The service was excellent; stay in or take out. Next visit I plan to try something from the buffet/hot station. The chicken parmigiana was delicious.
Their veal is good. However, the customer loyalty is pitiful. I order a veal sandwich but with NO bun. When I ask for extra peppers, they charge me $1.00 despite not taking the bun and no discount was given. During other occasions, I've asked for a small garlic bread instead of the bun, they charge me again, but no discount for not taking a bun... So I eat here once every 2 weeks as a result, when I WAS a daily customer.
Charges $10 per person for seating
Great place. Good italian food.
Sandwiches are literally to die for since none of their staff wear a face mask while prepping my veal sandwich. Still worth it.
Hello all This place has fresh bread and pastries and the hot table as well, lots of different thing to try from full meals to dessert. Good location easy parking. Nice inside and out side. I don't visit has often as I use to , I have to watch what l eat I'm to heavy for my own good 🙂.
Great fresh bread options. I would recommend the gelato too.
I just love the food here. And the desserts. Just like mom never made. The coffee, especially the lattes and cappuccino, is awesome. It isn't Tim Hortons - so if you're expecting that, brace yourself - it's Italian coffee. The pastries are great, and you can end your meal by cooling down with a gelato - and there are lots of flavours. 🇮🇹 🇮🇹
They place has changed over the last couple of years and thats unfortunate. It feels cold and sterile now. The staff here are nice but it is clear that the owners are looking for the cheapest labour possible. Some of the staff barely speak English. I was surprised that they did not take Debit unless the purchase was over 10$.
We ordered 2 large pizza from this place and they were horrible. Unbelievably salty and we could not finish even one slice. It was embarrassing because we were visiting a friend that just had surgery and we told her we bring lunch. I wish I bought pizza from Metro grocery store. I had a better experience there and you just pay about $10 to $15 for a pizza. We Paid $48.00 at Nino's and the pizzas went straight to the garbage. Lesson learned.. Not all Italian places have Italian quality food. Don't fall for the name. Cheers
Thr best Italian restaurant ever
The coffee and food is amazing. But I COULD NOT BELIEVE when after purchasing for 3 people the cashier said I must pay for Hot Water to fill my reusable cup. I will not be returning. This is Canada! Water is free. Please don't support these greedy people.
Great selection of meals and desserts. Whether you are looking for a quick simple meal or have an urge for something sweet. This is a great place for having a cup of coffee with a friend. If you are looking for desserts for a get together check it out.
I love this place because of its atmosphere! !!We became all friends - stuff, the owner and other people! !!The food and service is gorgeous too.
We are clients from the time Nino was located in Steels Ave. We love the coffee, the pizza, the ambient and we love the personal. But lately we find that some measure don't make sense. We went two time, when the patio was totally empty, one time even was drizzling. We were planing to have coffee and a cake. The answer was: no, you can't seat at the patio if you don't expend minimum $10 dollars each. We left without buying anything. Looks like Nino's prefers to lose clients even with empty patio.
